By downloading, accessing, or using the seefood mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) as well as any additional rules, policies, or guidelines we publish from time to time. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the App.
License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and only in accordance with these Terms.
Restrictions: You will not (i) decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App; (ii) copy, modify, or create derivative works based on any part of the App; (iii) use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms; (iv) exploit the App or its outputs for commercial gain without our prior written consent.
seefood allows you to capture photos of food ingredient lists. It then uses AI models to analyse those ingredients for allergens and dietary compatibility. The ingredient photos, text, and any notes or comments you store locally or share externally are considered “User Content.” You are solely responsible for your User Content and for any consequences of sharing or relying on it.
Prohibited Actions: You agree not to use the App to create, post, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringing; to violate the rights of others; or to misrepresent or falsify nutritional or allergen information.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you may encounter content that is inaccurate, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate, and you release the makers of seefood from any claims arising from such content.
The App displays banner and interstitial ads supplied by third-party networks such as AppLovin MAX. By using the App, you consent to the display of these ads and to the ad networks’ limited use of device identifiers and coarse location for ad delivery and performance measurement.
We employ Firebase Analytics to collect aggregated, de-identified data about feature usage, crash reports, and in-app events. This information helps us improve stability and user experience.
seefood offers credit packs (“Credits”) for additional scans through Apple In-App Purchase. All payments are processed by Apple; we never receive or store your payment information. Credits are treated as consumable in-app purchases under Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines 3.1.1, which means they are device-bound, non-transferable, and non-refundable. If you uninstall or delete the App, all locally stored data, including any unused Credits, will be permanently lost and cannot be restored or refunded. This behaviour is consistent with Apple’s policy that consumable products “can’t be downloaded again for free or restored to multiple devices.” You can read more about this here: https://support.apple.com/en-in/102383
Please note that purchasing Credits does not eliminate advertising; it may reduce the frequency of ads, but you will still see ads while using the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, pose a risk to other users, or interfere with the App’s normal operation.
We may update these Terms periodically. When material changes are made, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, display an in-app notice. Continued use of seefood after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Warranty and Provision: App Provided “As Is.” seefood is offered without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will run error-free or uninterrupted.
AI Analysis Accuracy: All analyses are generated by AI models that are continuously evolving. Results may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances.
AI Recommendations & Advice: Please note that seefood DOES NOT provide medical or dietary advice. Any and all recommendations should be viewed as suggestions. Always verify critical allergen information on product packaging and consult a qualified professional before acting on the App’s output.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, seefood Labs and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages—including loss of profits, data, or goodwill—arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
